After Ten Years of using nothing Apple iPhones, I chose to provide an Android-supported smart device a shot. I went with Google’s Pixel 2. At$650 it’s definitely a cheaper option than most iPhones, so I decided to use it for a week and see exactly what life is like as a non-iPhone-user. Following is a transcript of the video.Graham Flanagan: Hi, my name is Graham Flanagan, and I have actually been an iPhone addict for the last Ten Years. Changing to Android simply never appeared like a genuine choice. But, the a growing number of I hear and read about them, they look like they may really be remarkable to the iPhone! So, this week, I am going to check out the Pixel 2.

For the next few days, I’m going to attempt and use the Google Pixel 2 for whatever. Okay, so one week has actually passed. My initial impression

is– I love the phone. It’s a phone that is simply as great, if not much better, than the iPhone. I might quickly see myself changing to a Pixel phone. And, with a price point of only $650, it would be very financially sound to do that. Let’s talk about a few of the elements of the Pixel 2 that I

actually delighted in. The advantage that stands out the most over the iPhone is the battery life. I never ever had a scenario where I felt like the battery was about to pass away. And that happens all the time with the iPhone. And, I got ta say, naturally, there was a learning curve

, a little bit of a learning curve switching over to Android, but by the end of the week, I feel actually comfy with it. It’s visibly lighter than the iPhone. I like that! Here’s one location where I believe the iPhone definitely wins

. The dongle for the Pixel is substantial. It’s ludicrous. Look at those 2 put side-by-side. If you’re gon na have a dongle, make it as small as possible. Apple absolutely wins there. Much like with the new iPhones, there’s no headphone jack, which is the worst technological “development “in current memory. Hands down, the cam on the Pixel 2 is much better than exactly what you see with an iPhone

. Here are some examples of photos that I took while on a farm in Virginia. Simply look at that clarity. Look at the hair on that goat. This one was taken with an iPhone. Exact same goat. The image is not as top quality as the one taken with the Pixel. The Pixel’s video quality– also exceptional. The colors just pop

. Here’s some footage I took of the New York City skyline from an airplane. As you can see, when you focus, the zoom on the camera, like the majority of smartphone cameras, isn’t really that terrific. You lose a great deal of resolution. But normally, I was a huge fan of the video, so that’s simply a certain advantage.Even though I’ve been an iPhone disciple for like, 10 years, I feel like that’s even if it’s been a force of habit and not actually due to the fact that I seemed like iPhones were the best phones. And now that I’m comfy with the Android operating system, I might be ready to make the switch.
